The National XC Relays took place today at Cumbernauld. <\/p>\n
Lasswade fielded four teams, one young females, two young males and one mens team.<\/p>\n
The young females team of Rachel Hutchison, Fiona Matheson and Amy Frankland ran well to finish just outside the top 20 in 24th position.<\/p>\n
The young male teams Kyle McKenzie, Jamie Cousin and Euan Bathgate finished 42nd and Ronan Clelland, Iain Lawson and Ross Henderson finished 56th.<\/p>\n
A number of people found this venue difficult to find (including me and I have been there on any number of occasions) and it was looking like we might not have a mens team as two of our athletes were late arriving but they made it safely in the end. A slight adjustment to the running order was all that was required. The team of Colin Menzies, Ross Finlayson, Ben Mitchell and Barney Phillips finished a creditable 29th.<\/p>\n
