Several of the club’s athletes were part of the winning East Region team in the Inter Regional Match at Wishaw on Saturday.<\/font><\/font><\/p>\n Highlights of the day were the gold medal winning performances from Rachel Robertson<\/b> – U16W Long Jump (5.29m), Katie Purves<\/b> – U16W 80m Hurdles (12.08s), Sophie Elder<\/b> – U18W 300m (42.15s), and Gareth Fleming<\/b> – U16M Javelin (41.04m). <\/span>Gareth<\/b> also collected a bronze medal in the U16M Pole Vault (2.80m) and finished 6th in the Shot Putt (10.09m), while Rachel<\/b> and Katie<\/b> claimed another first place when they both ran in the winning U16W 4 x 100m relay team (52.08s).<\/font><\/font><\/p>\n Collecting silver medals were Jordan Charters<\/b> – U18M High Jump (1.75m), and Katherine Szymanski<\/b> – U18W Triple Jump (9.93m). Katherine also finished 2nd B, and 7th overall in the Javelin (20.86m).<\/font><\/font><\/p>\n Also competing for the team were Amy Smith<\/b> – U18W 800m, Sophie Collins<\/b> – U16W 1500m, Jack Learmonth<\/b> – U18 Triple Jump, Frankie Benham<\/b> – U18W Javelin, Shot Putt and Discus, Jamie Cousin <\/strong>– U16M 400m, and Erin Feeley<\/b> – U16W Hammer and Discus.<\/font><\/font><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Several of the club’s athletes were part of the winning East Region team in the Inter Regional Match at Wishaw on Saturday.
