Several of the club’s athletes were competing for their schools at the Scottish Schools’ Championships on Thursday.\u00a0 Top performers on the day were Ellen Kristoffersen<\/strong><\/span> who won Gold in the Over 16 Girls’ High Jump, with a clearance of 1.65m<\/strong>, Rachel Robertson<\/strong><\/span> who claimed the gold medal in the Over 16 Girls’ Long Jump (5.50m – PB)<\/strong>\u00a0and Gareth Fleming<\/strong><\/span> with double silver medal wins in the Under 16 Boys’ Pole Vault (3.00m – PB)<\/strong>\u00a0and Long Jump (5.36m)<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Ellen<\/strong><\/span> also came fourth in the Over 16 Girls’ Long Jump (5.15m – indoor PB)<\/strong>, Gareth<\/strong><\/span> finished sixth in the Under 16 Boys’ Hurdles final and Rachel<\/strong><\/span> was the only 4th year girl to\u00a0qualify for\u00a0a tough Over 16 Girls’\u00a0200m final where she finished 5th.<\/span><\/p>\n
