\"2013-02-24The Club\u2019s U20 Women were crowned Scottish Indoor League champions at Glasgow\u2019s Emirates Commonwealth Indoor Arena on Sunday.<\/p>\n

This is another great achievement for this team, who have previously won the Scottish Indoor League title at U13, U15 and U17, before taking this year\u2019s U20 title at the first time of asking, with a team which included four 16 year olds.<\/p>\n

The team’s results were: Rachel Robertson \u2013 Long Jump \u2013 1st (5.32m), 200m \u2013 2nd (26.8s), Ellen Kristoffersen \u2013 High Jump \u2013 1st (1.60m), Erin Feeley \u2013 Shot Putt \u2013 1st (8.52m), 60m Hurdles \u2013 3rd, Sarah Szymanski \u2013 Triple Jump \u2013 1st (8.80m), 60m \u2013 5th (9.34s), Amy Frankland \u2013 800m \u2013 1st (2:32.1), and Sophie Elder \u2013 1st \u2013 400m.<\/p>\n

Four of the team (Sarah Szymanski, Sophie Elder, Ellen Kristoffersen and Rachel Robertson) also competed in the 4 x 200m Relay competition, where they finished second to add another silver medal to their tally.<\/p>\n

The club also had an U20 men\u2019s team (Charlie Carstairs, Sean Hadden, Jordan Charters and Elson Musenga) who finished second in their heat of the 4 x 200m Relay, and an U13 Boys\u2019 team (Murray Blair, Brodie McQuorquodale, Connor McCabe and Guy McGarry ) who finished 4th in their heat.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
