These can be ceramic or steel and are available to purchase from reception at a cost of \u00a39.<span class=\"text_exposed_hide\">&#8230;<\/span><span class=\"text_exposed_show\"><br \/>\nPlease note that staff will be checking athlete\u2019s spikes when outdoors is open again and any athlete found to be wearing needle spikes will be asked to remove them immediately.<\/span><\/p>\n<div class=\"text_exposed_show\">\n<p>It is important that all Grangemouth users co-operate on this as clearly it is important the new track isn\u2019t quickly damaged.<\/p>\n<p>Remember it is the Athletes responsibility to ensure they have the appropriate spikes<\/p>\n<p>Athletes can purchase them cheaper and shops like Run and Become, or on line from <em>www.<b>neuff<\/b>.co.uk<\/em><br \/>\nRecommended spike usage for Mondo:<br \/>\n50m-400m: 1\/8? 3\/16? or 1\/4? (3,5 or 7mm) Christmas Tree<br \/>\n800m-1500m: 1\/4? (7mm) Pyramid or Christmas Tree<br \/>\n3000m-10,000m: 3\/16? (5mm) Pyramid<br \/>\nPole Vault: 1\/4? (7mm) Pyramid or Christmas Tree<br \/>\nJavelin: 1\/4? \u2013 1\/2? (7-13mm) Pyramid<br \/>\nHigh Jump: 1\/4? \u2013 3\/8? (7-9mm) Pyramid<br \/>\nLong Jump: 1\/4? (7mm) Pyramid<br \/>\nTriple Jump: 1\/4?
