Adam Leighton was 6th today at the Scottish Pentathlon Champs at the Emirates today with a score of 1499 points . A great performance considering it was his first Pentathlon and also the first time he’d competed in some events.<\/p>\n

SHOT – 5th – 5.95
\nHURDLES – he won his heat but was 5th overall -11.35
\nHJ – 2nd= 1.48 ( wasn’t happy as didn’t feel good jumping!)
\nLJ – 4th – 4.23
\n800 – 6th in his heat 2.47.<\/p>\n
