Cameron Steven and Lauren Dickson made the journey south this weekend to Bedford to compete in the England Age Group Championships.<\/p>\n

Cameron was competing in the under 17 men’s 800m and Lauren in the under 17 girl’s 1500m. \u00a0Cameron was first to compete on Saturday morning and safely qualified for the final on Sunday by winning his heat in 1.55.87.<\/p>\n

Next it was Lauren in the 1500m which was now being run as a straight final. \u00a0Lauren ran a fine race to finish a very impressive 5th narrowly missing a personal best with a time of 4.38.40.<\/p>\n

In the under 17 men’s 800m final Cameron ran a fantastic race to win, coming close to his personal best with a time of 1.52.93.<\/p>\n
