General info on leagues and national events
For leagues you declare your availability to the club via the links found in our calendar with teams selected from those available.
In most leagues there are only 2 competitors allowed per event – age group – gender – per team. Example U12 Boys 100m is one A string athlete and one B string.

When attending any league meeting you report to the club team manger to collect your number.
Indoors 2025/2026
Scottish Athletics Indoor League (SAIL)
This is for U12, U14, U16 & U18 athletes and has three meetings, with teams possibly qualifying for a Final. All events are at the Emirates Arena Glasgow
The schedule of events is the same for all meetings, we compete in the afternoon section starting around 1.45pm and often arrange a minibus. Team selection is from the availability form returns these links can be found on the events calendar
Events are free, and you report to the team manager to collect your number.
National Events
All age groups from U14 upwards will have their own age group National Championships. Athletes or their parents should enter these events individually by using the links in our events calendar or going via the scottishathletics website. An entry fee is payable when entering

Summer Leagues 2025
When you attend a league competition you report to the team manager to collect your team number and you must wear a club vest. Leagues are free to compete in as part of your membership
Forth Valley League (FVL)
This is a competition for Under 11, Under 13 and Under 15 athletes There are a small number of events in each of the three fixtures, but is a great league to enter if you are new to competing. Central & Southern Scotland Athletics League (CSSAL)
This league is for athletes from U11, U13, U15, U17, U20, Sen & Masters age groups, which makes it the only summer league where all age groups compete together as a club. Scottish National Athletics League (SNAL)
This league is for athletes in the U17, U20, Sen & Masters. There is no A/B string, so we can enter multiple athletes into any event across the four meetings. The top two athletes in any event will count to the club score. Team Manager is John McOmish.

Superteams is for U12 age group. For the qualifier there is no youngest age limit. It is open to all athletes born in years 2014, 2015 or 2016. There is also no requirement for an SA membership for the qualifier. The relays for any age group apart from U11.

All the events below are self entry events by the athlete or parent, an entry fee is payable and a closing date applies. When you attend these events you report to declarations to collect your individual number.
