LASSWADE AC CLUB CHAMPIONSHIPS
SUNDAY 11th OF SEPTEMBER 2016
Our Annual Championships are nearly upon us and it is time to send my annual request for help on the day!
There will be a raffle, tombola stall, sale of teas/coffees, filled rolls and home baking. Donations of filled rolls/baking can be brought along on the day and for the raffle and tombola on any training night. All monies made are for the club funds.
Even if your child is not competing we would still very much appreciate donations.
If you are able to help at any point during the day please email Ruth Szymanski at elkasaruma@hotmail.co.uk or text on 07522 279278.
Your generosity is what helps make this day a success so please come along with all the family to watch the Athletes who work so hard throughout the year.

Division 2 champions Forth Valley League

Brilliant news for Lasswade’s young athletes. Won all three sections from Saturday, won all three matches over the series. Huge well done to athletes, parents, coaches and officials . Special thanks to Craig Morton in his first season as Team Manager.

Looking forward to the Presidents select match and next season in Division 1.

FVL and CSSAL weekend 25 & 26 June 2016

A Big Big week for Lasswade with the final FVL match of the season on Saturday. Sitting top of Div 2 and pushing for promotion.

Sunday’s match is possibly even bigger. CSSAL down at Nithsdale and again with the clash of dates with an Upper YDL we need all athletes to try and make themselves available.

With one of our normal selectors (Linda) away we have a mix of Craig for the younger athletes and Margaret and David Mc for the older groups.

If approached please help. If not then please come forward to Craig , Margaret or Dave there is probably an event for you.

East District Championship -Day 2

Another great day in the sun for our athletes through at the East Champs at Grangemouth

No fewer than 8 PBs

1 Gold – Adam Leighton in the High jump u15
3 Silver- Greg Louden 100m, Jamie English HJ u17
And Anna Burnside LJ u13
2 Bronze Hannah Little U15 800 and Megan Mclaughlin again today for the Shot Putt.
