This is for U12, U14, U16 & U18 athletes and has three meetings, with teams possibly qualifying for a Final. All events are at the Emirates Arena Glasgow
The schedule of events is the same for all meetings, we compete in the afternoon section starting around 1.45pm and often arrange a minibus. Team selection is from the availability form returns these links can be found on the EVENTS CALENDAR
Events are free, and you report to the team manager to collect your number.
National Events
All age groups from U14 upwards will have their own age group National Championships. Athletes or their parents should enter these events individually by using the links in our events calendar or going via the scottishathletics website. An entry fee is payable when entering
When you attend these events you report to declarations to collect your individual number.
Summer Leagues 2026
When you attend a league competition you report to the team manager to collect your team number and you must wear a club vest. Leagues are free to compete in as part of your membership
Forth Valley League (FVL)
This is a competition for Under 12, Under 14 and Under 16 athletes There are a small number of events in each of the three fixtures, but is a great league to enter if you are new to competing. We currently compete in Div 2.
Lasswade AC Team Managers: Keith Kong & Susan Outerson. Assistance with team management appreciated – get in touch if you’re able to help.
Central & Southern Scotland Athletics League (CSSAL)
This league is for athletes from U12, U14, U16, U18, U20, Sen & Masters age groups, which makes it the only summer league where all age groups compete together as a club. Again there are three fixtures over the season. We currently compete in Div 1.
Lasswade AC Team Managers: Keith Kong & Susan Outerson. Assistance with team management appreciated – get in touch if you’re able to help.
Scottish National Athletics League (SNAL)
This league is for athletes in the U18, U20, Sen & Masters. There is no A/B string, so we can enter multiple athletes into any event across the four meetings. The top two athletes in any event will count to the club score. Team Manager is John McOmish.
District and Championship Events
Athletes (or their parents) self enter into these events via the organisers. An entry fee payable and a closing date applies. When attending these events athletes report to declarations to collect their individual number.
District & National Championships: Lasswade AC are in the East District, these championships are a great stepping stone for the Nationals. At both these you will be competing in your age groups. Those competing National events can reclaim the entry costs after the event.
Open Graded Meetings (OGM’s) These are run by either clubs or local authorities The difference is that instead of competing against those of similar age you compete against those of similar standard. These are great opportunities, especially to get some experience if you are new to the sport or wanting to try something different.
Fixtures can be found on our EVENTS CALENDAR with each fixture having links to further info and how to declare, timetables.
