The Scottish Age Championships took place over the weekend 22&23 August 2015. Pretty good conditions on the Saturday and glorious sunshine and heat on the Sunday.
Some fine performances over the two days but perhaps a special mention to Cameron Steven who broke a 13 year record in winning his 1500 metre final.

Apologies for the delay in getting results from the last (match 3) CSSAl at Kilmarnock. The results have yet to be fully scutinised however in the meantime please find the Lasswade performances. Once again well done to all . Every point counted !!!

This event takes place at Grangemouth Stadium this weekend and a number of athletes from Lasswade have been selected to compete.

Lasswade AC are now taking entries on line for the annual ADULT cross country race at Gorebridge, Midlothian . Maximum entries for each race 200 so don’t delay start your winter schedule planning now !!!

The schools international took place this weekend at Grangemouth with two Lasswade AC athletes selected for Scotland. The conditions were not ideal for fast times with a strong cool wind, welcome to summer in Scotland!
Cameron Steven finished 3rd in a slow tactical 800m race with very exciting and fast last 200m. Lauren took part in the 1500m race, this was also a very slow race over the first few laps with the race only really starting over the last 600m. Lauren finished in 8th place.
The photo’s below show Cammy and Lauren looking very smart in their Scotland kit and Cammy receiving his medal.
Well done to both athletes!

Lasswade’s AC Club Championship is held at Meadowbank on Sunday 20 September 2015. There is a full card of events for U11 up to Masters.

This weekend sees the schools track and field international take place at Grangemouth.
Two Lasswade AC athletes have been selected to represent Scotland, Cameron Steven in the 800m and Lauren Dickson in the 1500m.
